BENTONVILLE, AR-- It's the last Sunday before Christmas and folks are hitting the stores after winter weather and slippery streets left them days behind on holiday shopping.

"It's going to creep up and people have not really realized how quickly Christmas has gotten here", said store owner of "The Mustache", Lori Fast.

It's the home-stretch for shoppers and folks in downtown Bentonville are getting in those final holiday steals and deals.

Fast says they'll even wrap your gifts to simmer some of your stress.

"We want to serve them and provide for their needs."

It's one-stop shopping, helping those caught off guard by the winter storm to get back on track.

One shopper said, "normally I am a shopper who has everything done before thanksgiving. The storm did put me a week behind so i'm just picking up the last few things. I've hit like all of downtown Bentonville and all the different stores. Those were not as crowded and they have a lot of unique gifts."

For "The Mustache", this final rush is giving holiday business a bit of a boost.

"That's what people tell me is they know they can find something here, either last minute on their way to a party or a get together or that special gift that you can't find anywhere else."

Many of the shops on the downtown Bentonville square are open right up until Christmas day, for all your last minute needs and they want to remind you to beat the chaotic crowds by shopping small this holiday season.
