Spreading Knowledge Book by Book

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Fans of fiction and non-fiction literature were giving old-time books a second chance to be enjoyed.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Fans of fiction and non-fiction literature were giving old-time books a second chance to be enjoyed.

St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Fayetteville hosted a used book sale this weekend. People were bringing in books to sell for weeks, and the buyers could score a classic novel for anywhere between 50-cents and $1.

"Of course it's always important for people to be able to have access to the knowledge that's in a book... If they have a book that they're really interested in, that book is going to send them down a path," said book sale organizer Jane Keen.

To make sure everyone gets the chance to enjoy a good book, money raised from the sale benefits a church organization that buys books for people that cannot afford them.
