A facelift for Springdale's airport is heading before the city council, after a thumbs up from the Street and CIP Committee.
Springdale, AR - A facelift for Springdale's airport is heading before the city council, after a thumbs up from the Street and CIP Committee.

The renovations will cost nearly $1 million, and those in favor of the fixes say it will attract more business to the city. The updates include filling in a hole in the second floor to add seating capacity at the Flaps Down Grill, as well as extending the balcony, and adding office space and handicap-accessible bathrooms.

The City Council will consider the request on October 22.
