Teen Says a Fake Cop Groped Her

HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR-- Investigators say an 18-year-old reported being pulled over around 9:45 p.m. last Thursday because her taillight was out.
The victim told police the impersonator ordered her to get out of the car, cuffed her left hand, then started to grope her, trying to put his hand in her pants.
HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR -- Law enforcement officials in Phillips County are searching for a man accused of posing as a police officer then sexually assaulting a teenager during a phony traffic stop.

Investigators say an 18-year-old reported being pulled over around 9:45 p.m. last Thursday because her taillight was out.

The victim told police the impersonator ordered her to get out of the car, cuffed her left hand, then started to grope her, trying to put his hand in her pants.

The teen reportedly broke free and ran away, while the suspect got into his car and drove off.

Police say the man is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall with a slender build and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a military-style uniform.
