The man who went on a shooting spree at the Los Angeles International Airport is in critical condition and unable to speak. And there may have been signs of his plans. A woman who said she knew the accused gunman says he believed the TSA abused its authority. A note found on him said he wanted to 'instill the fear into their traitorous minds.' He could face life in prison or the death penalty.

Two Miami Dolphins are embroiled in a workplace bullying controversy. Jonathan Martin left the team last week, accusing fellow offensive lineman Richie Incognito of systematic bullying. Martin said Incognito sent him harassing voicemails, text messages and financial extortion. The Dolphins suspended Incognito last night for "conduct detrimental to the team."

A Florida vacation went horribly wrong for one Alabama family. Six-year-old Logan Hamby was in shallow water when he was attacked by a shark. The shark bit down on his leg and tried to drag him underwater. His father, stepmother and two others struggled with the shark and managed to rescue the boy. Logan was taken to a hospital, where he got stitches for five deep puncture marks.

Central Connecticut State University was on lockdown Monday. One man is in custody, but his identity has not been confirmed. Students reported seeing a man with a gun walking into a dorm building. There have been no reports of any shooting. But the school told people to stay indoors and away from windows.

Move over, "Beliebers." The 'Katycats' are taking over. Katy Perry is now the most-followed celebrity on Twitter with more than 46 million followers. That's a few hundred thousand more than Justin Bieber. But half of Perry's followers may be fake accounts. Music artists make up seven of the top ten Twitter users. Twitter is expected to go public on the New York Stock Exchange Thursday.
