Private emails and text messages revealed by a New Jersey newspaper implying an aide to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie hatched an apparent revenge plot against a city of 35,000 because its mayor failed to endorse the incumbent. Gov. Christie issued a statement Wednesday saying this is the first time he's seen the emails in question, and that "this behavior is not representative of me or my administration in any way, and people will be held responsible for their actions."

Still in the grips of the Arctic blast, now the nation is facing more snowfall. Overnight, the bitter cold temps and howling winds creating whiteout conditions over our nation's snowbelts. Former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords completed a skydive Wednesday, marking three years since the mass shooting at her campaign event in Tucson, Ariz. Giffords skydived from Eloy with her friend, former Navy SEAL Jimmy Hatch. Six people died in the 2011 massacre. Giffords and 12 others were injured.

Utah will not recognize the same-sex weddings recently performed in the state, at least not for now.The move comes after the U.S. Supreme Court put same-sex marriages on hold in Utah while the state appeals a federal judge's order that allowed them.

It appears as though Louisville has found a familiar face to replace departed coach Charlie Strong. According to Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports, the Cardinals are expected to hire Western Kentucky's Bobby Petrino, who was the coach at Louisville from 2003 through 2006. Petrino formerly coached at the University of Arkansas.
