Michael Bay may be a major Hollywood director. But last night, he was at a loss for words. The man behind the hit "Transformers" franchise took the stage to help Samsung debut their new Ultra High-Def TV. Bay says the teleprompter failed -- so he left the stage. It didn't take long for Twitter users to go on the offensive after the freeze up. One Twitter user posted "People are acting like this is the first time 'Michael bay' and 'script problems' have ever appeared in the same sentence."

Honey Boo Boo and her family were involved in an accident Monday in Georgia. Milledgeville police say the famous TLC family was riding in their suburban when they were hit by a pickup at an intersection. TMZ is reporting that the person who hit the family ran a red light. The family had minor injuries and are expected to recover.

Florida State is the new BCS champion after defeating the Auburn Tigers last night in the Rose Bowl and ending the SEC's run of 7 consecutive championships. Florida State won 34-31 for their first national championship since 1999.

A blast of cold air gripping much of the United States. Forecasters say nearly 200 million people across the country could feel the effects of the so-called "polar vortex." Temperatures are supposed to taper off later in the week.

Sasheer Zamata will join "Saturday Night Live" this month, becoming the first African-American female in the show's cast in six years. Zamata will make her debut on Jan. 18, when hip-hop star Drake is scheduled to host. The comedienne has been honing her skills with the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. Producers of the NBC show have been criticized for the lack of diversity since Maya Rudolph left the cast 6 years ago.
