"The Voice" has returned for season five making its debut Monday night on NBC. Among the top competitors in night one of blind auditions was 17-year-old Caroline Pennell performing for the first time on stage.

The original coaches, Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton returned Monday night to fight for the best singer. Green snagged the first artist of the new season and Levine led the pack with a total of three singers on his team by the end of the night.

Matthew Schuler made history as the fastest four-chair turn in all five seasons of The Voice. And after a lengthy debate, Aguilera won the 20-year-old college student for her team. So after night one of the blind auditions, Adam has three singers, Cee Lo and Christina have two and Blake has his lone country singer. The Voice returns Tuesday night at 8:00 right here on KNWA.
