The 10th Annual Tour de Cure at Arvest Ballpark had walkers, runners and cyclists taking to the field to help raise money for the American Diabetes Association.
Wet weather delayed the start of the event for a couple of hours, and instead of riding 100 miles they rode 100 kilometers.
But, there was still family fun and entertainment all for the cause.
"We have 36,000 people in Northwest Arkansas that are affected by diabetes and by the year 2050, one in three people will have diabetes and so we're trying to find a cure," said Corey Paquette with Tour de Cure.
The ADA's fundraising goal for Saturday's event was $250,000, with proceeds going toward diabetes research, advocacy and educational programs for Northwest Arkansas.
