According to the travel website tripadvisor.com, 39% of Americans are planning to travel this Thanksgiving. That's up from last year at only 32%. 57% plan to drive to their destination. And 37% are flying, despite the rising air fares. As for the most popular Thanksgiving travel date this year; November 27th tops the list. And with one less week for holiday shopping this season, nearly half of folks plan on braving a Black Friday shopping trip.
