Velveeta Recalls Mac & Cheese Dinner

After worries over a shortage of the cheesy favorite, Velveeta is now issuing a recall.
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS -- More vexing news from Velveeta. After worries over a shortage of the cheesy favorite, the brand is now issuing a recall.

Truitt Brothers manufacturers for Velveeta, and the company has announced a recall of the Cheesy Skillets Singles Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac. The macaroni and cheese product contains pasta and ground beef, but it also has soy in it, which didn't make it onto the label. Since soy is a serious allergen, the company is recalling this product. The good news is that if you don't have a soy allergy, Truitt Brothers says the food is safe to eat.

If this recall affects you, check your item for a sale date from March 2, 2014 to October 23, 2014.
