SCOTT COUNTY, AR-- During the May flooding this year, The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission lost Wildlife Officer Joel Campora during an attempted water rescue at Y City. Also killed in the effort was Scott County Deputy Cody Carpenter. On Thursday, they released a video paying tribute to his legacy.

"A Tribute to Joel Campora" is a fifteen minute documentary looking back at the weather event and examining how the Commission responds to these dangerous situations.  It uses archive news reports from that day and interviews with members of the Arkansas Game and Fish and the Scott County Sheriff's Office.  They also check in with Campora's wife who remembers him as a loving father and that "people felt safer when he was around."
