Walmart & Sam's Clubs Now Offers Flu Shots For Kids & Adults

With flu season in full swing, the world's largest retailer is ramping up the flu fight around Northwest Arkansas.
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS -- Who has time to get sick? With flu season in full swing, the world's largest retailer is ramping up the flu fight around Northwest Arkansas. You can now stop by a Walmart or Sam's Club across the area for the flu vaccine. Pharmacists will give shots to anyone 18 years and older for just $25. Insurance may, however, cover the cost. Some stores will also vaccinate children age 7 and older. For a list of those stores, see below.

Locations offering adult immunizations include:

Walmart Supercenter, 3919 N. Mall Ave., Fayetteville, AR
   Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 9pm
   Saturdays, 9am - 7pm
   Sundays, 10am - 6pm

Walmart Neighborhood Market, 3475 W. Black Forest Dr., Fayetteville, AR
   Tuesdays,11am - 4pm
   Wednesdays, 1pm - 5pm
   Fridays, 11am - 2pm

Walmart Supercenter, 2011 West Walnut, Rogers, AR
   Tuesdays - Fridays, 10am - 3pm

Walmart Supercenter, 4208 Pleasant Crossing Blvd, Rogers, AR
   Tuesdays - Thursdays, 11am - 4pm

Some Walmart stores in NWA are also offering vaccinations to kids 7 and older, in addition to adults. The stores just request that people call ahead to the store pharmacy for availability and times.
