But, a picture promoting the stop is "one thing" folks from Tulsa are not excited about.
According to a Tulsa World editorial, this postcard-type photo was found on their website. There are several for different stops, each featuring a locale-specific backdrop and the boys in a local team clothing. But it's the Razorback gear in the Tulsa pic that has at least one Tulsa writer a little steamed.
"While I'm sure there are some Razorback fans in Tulsa, it's not the best representation of the city in a different state," Jerry Wofford writes. "As a native Arkansan, I think it's awesome. But as a current Tulsan, it makes me chuckle a bit."
He goes on to point out that the picture has been replaced - the wrong state jerseys removed - and allows that "they get a pass" because they aren't from here. He does add he thinks the band should have sported Golden Driller helmets.
