Any outside burning is discouraged because of the extremely dry conditions and with good reason. Crews from five different fire departments spent Saturday afternoon putting out a fire off of Kell Road in Washington County.
Johnson Fire crews tell us they had to call in help from other cities to get things under control.
"There was a grass fire that extended from the structure... We had mutual aid from Springdale, Fayetteville, Farmington, Tontitown and Central EMS," said Assistant Fire Chief Todd Anderson, with the Johnson Fire Department.
One man was taken to Washington Regional. No word yet on his condition or what caused the fire.
Meanwhile, the Red Flag Fire Warning is active in Benton County until Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and it will stay in effect in Washington and Madison counties until conditions improve.
