ARKANSAS - A proposal to expand alcohol sales to all Arkansas counties is one step closer to getting onto the November ballot. Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin says the group Let Arkansas Decide met the initial signature requirement.

The Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Amendment needed just over 78, 133 signatures, and the group turned in over 84,000. Now, all those signatures will have to be verified.

Meanwhile, the group has 30 days to collect extra signatures, to compensate for any that are disqualified. Once signatures are verified, the proposed amendment will be place on the ballot for the General Election.
