The search for legendary D.J. Casey Kasem is over. The 82-year-old has been located in Kitsap County, Washington state, west of Seattle. Police in Santa Monica, CA, say Kasem was found just hours after his children filed a missing person's report on Wednesday. Kasem was first reported missing Monday during a court hearing.
The Carter-Knowles family is now talking about about their infamous elevator fight, but not why it happened. Solange Knowles, Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce, have released a statement about some surveillance video showing Beyonce's younger sister hitting and kicking her brother-in-law. Their statement says:
"At the end of the day, families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."
More trouble for former New England Patriots NFL player Aaron Hernandez, who is currently being held without bail for the murder of Odin Lloyd in 2013. Today, he was indicted on a number of new charges, including two counts of first-degree murder in Boston. He also faces three charges of attempted murder, one charge of assault with a deadly weapon and a charge of unlawfully carrying a deadly weapon.
General Motors has added more vehicles to its list of recalls. Today, the company informed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of five safety recalls covering 2.7 million vehicles. That brings GM's total recalled vehicles to more than 8.5 million for 2014 in the U.S. alone. GM is in the midst of the largest recall in its 105-year history.
Firefighters battling numerous wildfires in California got a bit of a break Thursday, as winds have slowed. But there's still a lot of work ahead of them. The wildfires burning in San Diego County have spurred thousands of evacuations over almost 10,000. By Thursday morning, officials said the fire was only 5 percent contained.
