CRAWFORD COUNTY, AR-- Four people, including two children, are dead just outside of Alma, in an apparent murder-suicide. Crawford county deputies say it started with a domestic dispute that turned deadly Tuesday afternoon. Investigators say it happened in a neighborhood just north of Alma on Old Rudy Road.

According to Crawford County Sheriff, Ron Brown, the gunman was a grandfather who shot his two grandkids and another woman before turning the gun on himself. Deputies say the shooter was Tim Adams.

On Wednesday, the sheriff released more information about what happened.  The victims are Michael Williams, 31, Kierra Adams, 4, and Chastyn Williams, four months.

Brown said Adams shot Williams in his car after he drove up to the house and the 4-month old boy as he sat in his car seat. That's when, he said, the mother took the baby along with the 4-year-old and another child into the house.  Adams followed them as they escaped into the backyard then killed Kierra Adams, said Brown.

"They encountered three victims and a fourth in the backyard." said Sheriff Brown.

Deputies arrived a short time later, which is when Adams shot himself, according to Brown. Adams' daughter and the three-year-old were uninjured.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Arkansas State Police is assisting in the investigation, along with the Arkansas Highway Police.
