Men’s Track and Field Remains No. 1, Women No. 4

For the fifth-consecutive week, the Arkansas men’s track and field team is ranked No. 1, as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA ) on Tuesday.

For the fifth-consecutive week, the Arkansas men’s track and field team is ranked No. 1, as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA ) on Tuesday. The Razorbacks have been the top-ranked team in the nation throughout the entire duration of the indoor season.


The top-ranked Razorbacks are ahead of Southeastern Conference foes, Florida and Texas A&M, respectively. Wisconsin comes in at No. 4, while Oregon rounds out the top-five in fifth-place.

The top three teams will face off this weekend at the SEC Championships in College Station, as the Razorbacks look to earn their third-straight conference title. Competition begins Thursday, February 27 and wraps up Saturday, March 1.


 The women are ranked No. 4 for the second week in a row, as announced by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA ) on Tuesday. The women have been ranked in the top 10 throughout the entire indoor season, climbing to No. 4 last week. 

No. 1 Oregon holds on strong in the top-ranked position for the second-consecutive week. Florida and Texas A&M are in a close race in the second and third spots, with No. 2 Florida owning a three-point advantage. The No. 4 Razorbacks are well-ahead of Texas, rounding out the top five.
