Arkansas and Texas Tech are meeting for the first time since 1991, picking up a series between the former Southwest Conference rivals that dates back to 1957. The Razorbacks lead the all-time series 28-7, including a 15-2 edge in Lubbock.
With Thursday’s announcement, the Razorbacks know four of their 2014 start times. Arkansas opens the season with consecutive 3 p.m. games on the SEC Network, first at Auburn on Aug. 30 and then Sept. 6 against Nicholls State in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks will end the regular season on CBS with a 1:30 p.m. kickoff Nov. 28 at Missouri, marking the 17th time in the last 19 years Arkansas has played on the Friday after Thanksgiving.
