Report: Johnson to Purdue

Arkansas assistant coach Taver Johnson is leaving to take a position on the Purdue coaching staff
A report by coachingseach.com says Arkansas cornerbacks coach Taver Johnson is leaving to take a position on the Purdue coaching staff.  Johnson has spent the last two seasons at Arkansas coaching the linebackers in 2012 and cornerbacks in 2013.

Johnson was going to be helping out with the secondary after newly hired defensive coordinator Robb Smith announced he would coach both the corners and safeties on the defense during the 2014 season.

Johnson's departure is the third of the off season for the Razorback defense after defensive line coach Charlie Partridge left to become head coach at Florida Atlantic.  Also defensive coordinator Chris Ash left to take a similar position at Ohio State.  Only recently promoted senior associate head coach/linebackers coach Randy Shannon remains from the Razorback defensive coaching staff of 2013.
