Tyler Wilson is going into the his 2nd season in the NFL, but he hasn't forgotten his roots. The former Razorback QB bringing the excitement of the game of football to his hometown.
The Greenwood back in his hometown to help young aspiring football players follow their dreams.
"Being able to bring some guys in, you know, helps motivate kids, and I'm excited about that." says Former Razorback Quarterback and Tennessee Titan, Tyler Wilson.
The three day camp centers around Quarterbacks and Receivers and focuses on more than just fundamentals.
"A lot of times in school ball, and everything is so rushed to get in and get out you don't, you fail to get through the mental part of it. And if kids can understand what the basic game of football is about, I think they are able to have more success." adds Wilson.
"Walking into that place and walking into the day and one of the greatest moments, one of the greatest times of your life happens and you don't even have clue it's going to happen. That's whats great about football. That's whats great about sports. That's why you work. that's why you are here today."
Wilson, who is now with the Tennessee Titans, says he's enjoying stepping out of the player role and into the coaching side of these, at least for these three days.
"It's ok, it's fun both ways, you know, I think you gain so much knowledge playing, and now you can say 'man there is so much that I wish I would've known, or that I've gained from playing that I can give back and maybe it will help some kids." continues Wilson.
