Razorback Catching Up After Christmas Break

With SEC play just around the corner Mike Anderson is determined to make the most of what's left of the Razorbacks' non conference schedule.
With SEC play just around the corner Mike Anderson is determined to make the most of what's left of the Razorbacks' non conference schedule. His guys reported back from the holiday break on Christmas night and have already worked out three times with a fourth practice set for tonight.

"We don't have school now so  yesterday we did--had a two-a day. We can really work on some things and put some new things in as well. Defensively. Offensively. I have their full attention." says Mike Anderson

One Razorback to watch for in particular, come January, is freshman Moses Kingley who continues to surprise his coaches in the way he's gone from a shot blocker and rebounder to a more complete basketball player.

"What he does is contagious. He's been giving us great, great energy. He's going to the free throw lines and knocking free throws down. Had his first career three point shot, shot clock running down, he had the presence to put it up." says Anderson

What does this team still need to do to be ready for those difficult SEC road trips coming up?

"I want to continue to see more guys start playing at a high level and be consistent in what we're doing." says Anderson

The combined records of the Hogs next two non conference opponents is a dismal 6-15. But as Anderson put it. It will be about us.  How much will we get out of these games?
