A look back at the life and times surrounding the Arkansas-Texas 1969 Shootout game in Fayetteville
One of the biggest and most important games in college football history was played on December 6th, 1969 in Fayetteville, Arkansas with the top ranked Texas Longhorns playing the second ranked Arkansas Razorbacks for a national championship. The game and the life and times of the country and the world are captured in the newest documentary called "The Big Shootout" produced by Fred Baker, Mike Humphrey, Don Stokes, Mike Looney and Sam Donald.
Mike Humphrey stopped by the Razorback Nation studio this week to talk about the documentary and some of the story lines from his research and putting together this story.
