Fayetteville Police Arrest Man for Possession of Drugs, Guns

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The Fayetteville Police Department arrested a man on multiple drug- and gun-related charges after they located 45 grams of cocaine and nearly 870 grams of marijuana in his home.

Mitchell Nwachukwu was arrested December 29 after officers of the Fayetteville Police Department obtained a search warrant for his home, and were able to locate the drugs and weaponry, according to a preliminary report form. 

Nwachukwu had a total of 868 grams of marijuana in various containers, 45 grams of cocaine, one hydrocodone, two digital scales and three firearms--one that appeared to be stolen, according to the preliminary report. 

Mitchell was arrested for possession with purpose to deliver meth, cocaine and marijuana; possession with purpose to deliver a schedule two drug, which was the hydrocodone; the simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms; theft by receiving; and the possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
