Fayetteville School Bus Involved in Crash

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA) -- A school bus from the Fayetteville School District was involved in a crash on Wednesday, officials say.

Students were onboard at the time of the crash, according to a spokesman for the district.

The crash took place at East Huntsville Road and Lake Sequoyah Road. A truck was turning left when a car hit it, pushing the truck into the school bus, officials said.

The Fayetteville School District said a replacement bus is being used to take the students home.

The spokesman said no students were injured in the crash. A dispatcher said there were injuries in the crash.

Two ambulances were called to the crash site, and two adults were hospitalized, the dispatcher said.
