3rd Grade Bentonville Student Recognized by Google for Artwork

BENTONVILLE -- A Bentonville 3rd grader is being recognized by Google. Thomas Jefferson Elementary student Emily Stockard has been named the Arkansas finalist for Google's doodle contest, which is open for kids K -12th grade to create inventions that they think will make the world a better place. Stockard's doodle, healthy kids, is now up for the national award. If she wins, her photo will be featured on the Google main page, and she'll also get a $30,000 college scholarship.
