Accused Murderer of Grandmother Officially Charged

BENTONVILLE, AR-- Charges are now officially filed against the Bentonville man accused of killing his grandmother with whom he lived with at the time.

26-year-old Michal Conklin faced a judge on Thursday,, as a charge of capital murder and aggravated robbery were handed down to him.

According to court documents, back on July 14th, officers went to check on Norma Darline Conklin at her home on southwest Elm Manor Drive in Bentonville. This, after she didn't show up for work,

Police found the 76-year-old stabbed to death in her garage.

Police arrested Michael Conklin on July 26th for the crime.

His next court date is set for monday, August 11.
