AROUND ARKANSAS -- Flood Safety Awareness Week is in full swing.

March 16-22 is Flood Safety Awareness Week and in an effort to keep folks safe, the American Red Cross has developed a flood app.

The goal is to possibly save lives and reduce losses from floods and flash floods.

Some of the features of the Red Cross Flood App include watches and warnings, a one-touch message that lets family and friends know you are safe, and real-time recovery resources for returning home and cleaning up.
