UPDATE (6/20/17):

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- On Tuesday morning just after 12 a.m. police arrested Jesseca A. MaGee.

No additional charges have been filed against her at this time, police said.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- A woman with a warrant out for domestic battery is wanted in connection with a Saturday shooting in Fort Smith, police say.

The Fort Smith Police Department said Jesseca A. MaGee was inside a suspected vehicle present when a man was shot in the front lawn of a residence in the 2500 block of High Street.

On Saturday at 3:50 a.m., police were called to a residence where Carlos Martinez-Arias, 23, was found shot in the abdomen. The gunshot victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

A witness to the shooting was found aiding Martinez-Arias.

Authorities said a gray four-door car showed up at the residence. Those inside were reportedly interested in buying illegal narcotics. While one of the individuals inside the vehicle was speaking with Martinez-Arias, two shots were fired, and the car sped away. An empty shotgun hull was found at the shooting scene.

MaGee was reportedly the front passenger inside the suspected vehicle when the shooting took place. Her outstanding battery warrant is unrelated to the shooting, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the shooting or MaGee's location is encouraged to contact the Fort Smith Police Department at 479-709-5100.
