Saturday was packed full of family-friendly festivities, starting with a pancake breakfast at Jose's and a 5K run to a dog parade and of course, the Fayetteville-famous bed races on Dickson Street.
"We want to celebrate spring, get people out on Dickson Street. It kind of gets Dickson Street back on people's minds, gets people out and about on the patios, spin the registers for the businesses on Dickson Street," said Doug Allen, owner of Jose's on Dickson.
Live, local musicians performed and when the clock struck 6:00 p.m., Springfest turned into Fayetteville's largest pub crawl. Proceeds raised go to Habitat for Humanity of Washington County.
