BENTONVILLE, AR-- The city of Bentonville, celebrating the 'American Homegrown Festival' Saturday morning, bringing the community together with food, fun, and most importantly each other.
The festival, mixed-in with the downtown Bentonville Farmer's Market to showcase vendors across the area. With a few extra features, it gave locals a chance to get to know their neighbors.
Nicki Dallison said "We really just want to bring the community together in the age of social media, it's really important to get out and know your neighbor, know your community, and see people face-to-face."
The fest wrapped up with a kids bike parade, leash manners for dogs, and a live band.
