Bentonville Students Get a Jump Start on Veterinary Careers

Bentonville, AR - Some Arkansas students, getting a jump start on their veterinary careers.

Bentonville High School hosted a veterinary science workshop, where teachers got hands-on experience with animals this afternoon. These teachers will now go out equipped to teach these veterinary classes to students. The Arkansas Department of Education is actually adopting state standards for teaching agriculture. Now BHS students can start taking veterinary science classes as early as their freshman year.

There are 28 students already enrolled.
