Superior Industries International will close its Rogers plant by the end of the year, leaving 500 people looking for a new job.
A Department of Workforce Services spokeswoman says they are in contact with the company and have put a rapid response team in place to provide any assistance to employees.
There are a few job fairs coming up over the next several months, specifically for those affected by these layoffs. The first one is on September 24 at the Superior Plant in Rogers.
Northwest Arkansas Chambers of Commerce are also working together to help keep the Superior workers employed in the area. More on that plan here.
