FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- The 2nd Annual Family Outdoor and Safety Expo got folks in the know on Saturday.

Everything from free car seat safety checks and free car seats to child ID kits and information on fire safety as well as a hazardous waste and drug drop off.

"We also wanted to provide a service to the community and let them know all of these resources and where they need to go, like the drug drop off can happen 24/7 here at the sheriff's office complex year round," said Anna Goff with Washington County 4-H Foundation.

There were also live and silent auctions as well as a $5 lunch. The Washington County 4-H Foundation hosted the event and proceeds will help kids attend camps and college.
