FAYETTEVILLE -- The clean up in Central Arkansas continues after devastating tornadoes hit the area. but here in Northwest Arkansas, folks still lending a helping hand and taking donations. Folks are filling "hog boxes" at Fayetteville Montessori School with items like mattresses, dog carriers, and bottles of water. It's just one of the many local groups doing their part to help the survivors of the Central Arkansas tornado. The school says its happy to be showing students how communities can come together, by example.
"Community's brought so much together and it's been so nice to watch everybody come together," Heather Younger, donation coordinator said.
The school will be taking the items to Central Arkansas Tuesday morning, and will be open to more donations Monday.
