BENTONVILLE, AR-- Yarnelle had it's ice cream festival on Saturday in Bentonville.

The Arkansas-based company set up shop on the downtown square, holding an ice cream eating contest every hour.

Free ice cream was given out, and volunteer, Karsyn Helms, believes it's an event no one should miss.

Helms said, "I would tell them that it's really fun, and you can eat a lot of ice cream for free, and it's just really fun and you get to meet a lot of people."

Contestants lined up to try and eat as much as possible for a chance to win a years supply of ice cream.
