ROGERS, AR--Hundreds gathered for the 55th annual poultry festival, happening all weekend at the John Q. Hammons center.

On Saturday there was a BBQ cook off where 38 teams competed to win. President of the poultry federation, Marvin Childers says Benton and Washington counties raise more poultry than any two counties in the nation.

"We're here this weekend nothing more than to celebrate the industry and have a good time."

The festivities continued with a Rodney Atkins concert and a silent auction where one hundred percent of proceeds will go toward college scholarships.
