Local High School Students Hold Day of Silence For LGBT Community

FAYETTEVILLE -- Friday, students at Fayetteville High School will be banning together in support of the LGBT community. The school's Gay Straight alliance will hold a day of silence, in hopes of bringing attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment. A demonstration will also be held before class, from 7 to 8 a.m.
