The Federal Communications Commission made campaign advertising buys available online in July for all television markets in Arkansas.
The state is currently in the midst of the most expensive political campaign ever between U.S senator Mark Pryor and congressman Tom Cotton.
On the FCC website, a user can search by station call letters to find out how much each campaign is spending. The 30-second spot running this week, $125,000 in the Little Rock TV market alone.
In addition the search option allows a user to query by a particular group paying for a campaign ad.
According to the Center for Responsive Politics, more than $8.1 million has been spent so far by outside groups in the Arkansas Senate race, and in the Cotton/Pryor race, there's not much in the way of positive messaging.
Of the $6.3 million plus spent on Tom Cotton by outside groups, well over 80% are ads against the freshman congressman, and all but $1,000 of the more than $2 million directed at Pryor are classified as negative spots.
