ROGERS, AR-- The Walmart Northwest Arkansas Championship, presented by P&G is here and with all the lady champs on the course, one group is standing by to make their week flow smoothly.

Alex Coch spends all day on the golf course.

Coch, a volunteer said "I'm a shuttle driver, I drive these carts around."

Carting the pro golfers tee to tee, he never tires of seeing golf clubs swing.

Coch said, "The girls, when they come off the practice range, we give them a ride to wherever they want to go."

Working the greens for more than six years, this Bella Vista man is a dedicated volunteer.

Coch said, "I just like helping them out. It's a way to give back to the community and it's really just fun for me that I just really enjoy doing it."

He says he is only one member of a much larger crew, making sure every golf ball is in place.

Coch said, "They spend a lot of hours getting prepared, making sure they have their crews all lined out."

While he waits to cart his next lady champ, Coch takes in the green scenery and before the final tee time, he's already looking forward to next year.

Coch said, "I don't know if i'll still be doing this same job or not but I sure hope so. It's a beautiful place to be."
