Olympic Medalist Visits Northwest Arkansas

BENTONVILLE, AR -- A top American athlete visited Northwest Arkansas to share her story of Olympic glory and inspiration.

Snowboarder Kelly Clark won a bronze medal in the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

She helped kick off Walmart's new partnership with Ion Cameras with a stop at the store in Bentonville Saturday.

Clark signed autographs for fans and says despite the rain, her first trip to Arkansas has been a lot of fun.

"It's been great to come and see the kids and see the families and hear the kids say, 'I watched you on TV, I watched the snowboarding,'" Clark said. "It's really amazing to see that kind of reach.

Clark said she hopes her story will inspire kids to chase their dreams.

"My life is a testament that dreams do come true and nothing is impossible," she said.
