Over the Edge: 3D Light Display in Japan

In Friday's edition of "Over the Edge" news, a 3-d light show in Japan and Christmas.

Take a look at this 3D light show at Osaka Castle in Western Japan. A tiger, flowers and other giant images pop out of the building's facade. The technique is called "3D projection mapping" and it uses about a dozen projectors. The light show also includes an amazing garden display.

In Indiana, a man has managed to turn his home into a Christmas wonderland. Brandon Smith has crammed 86 Christmas trees, and 52,000 lights into his 1400-square-foot home. It takes about four-weeks to get the house ready. It's open to the public, he just asks that spectators make a donation to the local children's hospital.
