Over the Edge: Wild turkeys, holy wood and 'Florida-style' Christmas trees

In Friday's edition of news going "Over the Edge," turkey revenge; the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus in a log; and a "Florida-style" Christmas tree.

In New Jersey, a wild turkey is causing trouble. It shows up at odd times, sets off car alarms, stops traffic and hounds deliverymen. The bird has even gone after some police officers and their cruisers. It mysteriously disappeared around Thanksgiving-- but reappeared soon after. This turkey might be looking for a little revenge for that holiday.

In Indiana, a couple sees a biblical image, while chopping firewood. After chain-sawing a log in half, Juliey Cooney says her husband saw what he thought looked like an angel in the wood. After a closer examination, they say it looks like the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus. The logs will soon be on display at the local police department.

And then there's a "Florida-style" Christmas tree. The tree sits at the waterfront in West Palm Beach and is made from 600 tons of sand. They had a tree lighting Thursday night. And will be lit every night through New Year's Eve.
