Razorback Road Widening Project Begins Thursday

FAYETTEVILLE, AR -- Construction is set begin on the widening of Razorback Road Thursday, June 19. According to the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, crews will be working to widen the existing roadway from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Nettleship Drive to four lanes. Crews will also be installing a drainage system, constructing curbs, gutters and sidewalks. A traffic signal and additional turning lane will also be constructed at the intersection of Razorback Road and Leroy Pond Drive. Work is expected to be completed by spring of 2015.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling through this work zone.
