"People are ready to see more trails and not only to use them recreationally, but to get to school and work and other activities," said John McLarty, the transport study director for the regional planning commission.
The first meeting was at the Bentonville Public Library August 11 from 4 pm to 7 pm and the next two are at the Fayetteville Public Library August 12, and the Siloam Springs City Hall August 14 from 4 to 7 pm as well.
"It's a pretty unique way to connect a lot of different facets in Northwest Arkansas," said Steve Bzomowski, who is part of the plan's design team.
