SPRINGDALE - A Springdale man is accused of sending text messages, threatening to decapitate and castrate someone.

In June, police say Andres Lopez even texted the man photographs of a knife, saying he would use it to cut the man's throat.  After working to track Lopez down, investigators in Benton County finally arrested him on an unrelated warrant.

He faces a charge of first degree terroristic threatening and is being held in the Washington County jail.
