The 14-year-old had built two secret compounds inside the store, keeping himself out of sight for four days. He hid two living spots was in the baby product aisle behind boxes of strollers and behind stacks of paper towels and toilet paper.
According to Fox NY, the boy even used the diapers instead of the store restroom to avoid being detected. Customers at the store never noticed the boy until a trail of trash led employees to him.
Child Protective Services said the teen was visiting family members when he disappeared. He's been released to the custody of his relatives, according to the Fox NY report.
