The Pulse: 30 Still Missing After Landslide

This is Sunday's edition of -- The Pulse.

Number five -- Disney's "Frozen" is now the highest grossing animated film of all time. It has topped $1 billion worldwide. The film, which premiered in the U.S. in November, earned nearly $400 million domestically and has brought in nearly $675 million internationally.

Number four -- At the box office this weekend, Russell Crowe's controversial biblical movie "Noah" was number one. It raked in about $44 million. The sci-fi action flick "Divergent" took the number two spot and "Muppets Most Wanted" came in at number three.

Number three -- It has been 22 days and still no sign of that missing Malaysia Airlines jet. Ships and aircraft have been scouring the Indian Ocean, looking for the plane and the 239 people who were on board when it disappeared. On Saturday, the crew aboard a Chinese search plane said it spotted an orange suspicious object suspected to be a life vest from the airliner. Turns out it was a dead jellyfish.

Number two -- California residents are still shaken up by recent earthquakes. A geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey says there have been as many as 100 aftershocks since a 5.1 magnitude quake rattled the Los Angeles area Friday. An earthquake Saturday was determined to be a magnitude of 4.1. No injuries have been reported but several homes have been red-tagged and deemed unsafe.

Number one -- Washington State residents still reeling from a deadly landslide now have a new worry, flooding. Officials say rainy weather has overflowed rivers and slowed down digging efforts. The Stillaguamish River, which runs through the now flattened town of Oso, has risen nearly a foot since Friday due to heavy rain. The area has already been experiencing localized flooding as rescue crews continue searching for survivors from the March 22 landslide. 18 people are confirmed dead and 30 are still missing. The number of those still missing dropped from 90 after officials cross-referenced lists of people who had registered as safe and after confirming identities with the medical examiner's office.
