A remarkable sight in Arizona, huge clouds of dust blowing across the Phoenix area. The dust storm, also known as a "Haboob", knocked out power to about 25,000 households and businesses. Flights were also held up briefly at Sky Harbor Airport. At least one fire was blamed on the blowing dust and powerful wind gusts.

Google has banned pornography from appearing in its online ads. The changes went into effect this week. Notification came in an email to porn site advertisers on Google's Adwords network. The company said it will no longer allow ads that contain sexual imagery, "including, but not limited to, hardcore pornography and graphic sexual acts." The porn ad ban comes a year after Google decided to remove blogs from its blogger network that contained online porn ads.

A judge has ordered that the Georgia man, charged with murder in his young son's death inside a hot car, be held without bond in preparation for a trial. During a hearing thursday, a police detective testified that Justin Ross Harris was exchanging nude photos with women the day his son died. Harris was at work at his desk on the day his son Cooper was trapped inside his car. Prosecutors describe a sort of double life where Harris was meeting up with women he was exchanging sexual messages with online.

Hurricane Arthur is a category-two hurricane as it moves up the East Coast. Arthur made landfall on North Carolina's outer banks late Thursday night. The storm brought gusty winds and heavy rain and forced thousands of people along the coast to abandon their long holiday weekend plans. The national hurricane center says that the storm could begin weakening tonight. North Carolina governor, Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency for 25 coastal and adjoining counties.

It's July Fourth and that means fireworks, picnics -- and feasts of food! The annual "Nathan's Famous Hot Dog eating contest" happens later today. Champion eater, Joey Chestnut aims to defend his men's title while Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas does the same. It all happens at New York's Coney Island amusement park, with the event airing live on ESPN.
